David Bruni -

David was a charter member of the Empire Statesmen and has been involved with the organization every year since its inception in 1983.

David has taught many marching bands with his father from 1980-1989.  David was show coordinator for the Eastridge marching band that won 5 N.Y. State championships (1992, 93, 94, 98, and 1999).

He has been the drum major for the Empire Statesmen since 1983 and has won numerous Drum Major awards including the DCA Best Drum Major in 1996 and 1999.

David has been the Show Coordinator for the Empire Statesmen for the past 6 years with shows including 1997 Miss Siagon, 1998 West Side Story and 2000 Phantom of the Opera to name a few.

The Empire Statesmen have won 5 DCA Championships (1991, 94, 97, 98 and 2004) and The World Show Band Championship in London, England in 1998 under his leadership.

He has also been inducted into the Drum Corps Hall of Fame in 2001.
