Jerry Kelsey
Brass Arranger

Jerry Kelsey has been the arranger\brass instructor for theEmpire Statesmen for 6 years including the past 3 seasons. His work has helped result in the Statesmen winning the high brass trophy the last 2 years.

Mr. Kelsey is the current arranger\composer for Wake Forest University>.

Through his business: Custom Arranging Services he is an arranger and composer for many high schools and Universities throughout the United States. Among the many institutions he writes for are: Jones Co. Community College and Pearl RiverCommunity College in Mississippi.

Jerry has been the brass arranger\instructor and consultant for many prominent drum and bugle corps. including: Capital Regiment, the San Francisco Renegades, the Boston Crusaders, theKilties,the Crossmen,  Florida Wave and Suncoast Sound.

Mr. Kelsey is a published arranger with Alfred Publications (formerly Warner Brothers) and recently was employed byHome Box Office.

Mr. Kelsey holds a B.A. fromFredonia State University where he studied Composition with Dr. Walter S. Hartley and Conducting with Dr. Harry John Brown.

He currently resides in Upstate New York.
